What is somatic coaching?


Soma means “body” in Greek. 

Somatic coaching is a holistic approach that focuses on the body mind connection. 


In this type of coaching, we use a bottom up approach, meaning we use the body first to influence the mind.  We can’t think ourselves out of anxiety or stress. What we can do is connect to the body’s innate wisdom through the physical sensations felt. 

We store everything in our bodies and our cells. That includes past trauma. 

Using a gentle somatic approach, we work together to help you process trauma or stress and create resiliency in your nervous system. This allows you to move past what has been holding you back so that you can live your life with more peace and joy.
